As y'all actually have life experience, I'm inclined to believe y'all.

Thus the reason I've forgiven him, and have offered the olive branch. He's a little irked with me, but still wants to be friends and hang out.

However, I've decided that until further notice, nothing even close to fooling around will happen again. He knows this, and accepts it.

Sigh. I THINK though, when he was honest with you, he stumbled over his words a little and they came out wrong. I think he MEANT what he said when he said he liked you. But maybe you intimidate him a little. You are pretty, but you are smart enough that normally he doesn't venture there because he no longer has the advantage. But see, here's the thing. He was HONEST. He said something that didn't put himself in the best light and I think there is something sort of sweet in that. He was testing to see whether he could hold his own with you. He would really PREFER your type, but it intimidates the hell out of him, so he usually looks for something easier.

Or that's how I see it.Hart Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17599570189253229318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1561175383093650327.post-7730779601307544732012-05-01T15:05:23.614-07:002012-05-01T15:05:23.614-07:00I'm so sorry that happened, Hattie. But I realize now that if that was going to be an issue, then it would never have worked.
Yeah, being called intimidating was weird and hurtful. I'm NOT intimidating, and intelligence should never be considered a bad thing. But it's true that a lot of boys don't like smart girls. And that's always been true.

INTELLIGENCE IS SEXY!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03863348732759224532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1561175383093650327.post-16743463586849506362012-05-01T11:07:14.192-07:002012-05-01T11:07:14.192-07:00I like to think being blunt is being honest and tr...I like to think being blunt is being honest and truthful, and (most of the time) is feeling free to be yourself. Anyone who doesn't appreciate honesty and thinks it's rude to express things in such a manner is just afraid of hearing the truth.......and why do people on the internet only understand humour if 'lol' is stuck right at the tip of the joke? (if I don't use it to accompany my online sarcasm, people seem to think I'm being philosophical and they all of a sudden get offended...)Alexandra Davidoffhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/pdp/profile/A1O8SC64MF6U3J%3Fie%3DUTF8%26ref_%3Dcm_cd_et_pdpnoreply@blogger.com
